What is your refund policy?
All tuition is non-refundable. Trinity Driving School knows that unpredictable circumstances arise. Therefore, we allow you to transfer your deposit (classroom fee) one time, but it is not refundable. The Driving portion is only refundable after your students 120 days are expired. Your driving portion is not refundable if you choose to leave Trinity and attend another school with in our contracted 120 days.
I am under 18, what do I need to do to get a license?
You must take the 38 hour Driver Education Class. That class consists of 4 days in the classroom and 4 2 hour private driving lessons done on four seperate days.

I am over age 18, what do I need to do to get a license?
Louisiana Law requires anyone 18 years of age or older who desires a driver's license to take a "14 Hour Pre-licensing Course", which includes 6 hours of classroom instruction, the OMV Written Exam, and 8 hours of one-on-one behind the wheel instruction.
What is the Mandatory Parents Meeting?
The State of Louisiana requires the a parent or legal gaurdian attend a 1-hour meeting proir to their student beginning class. In the meeting, we discuss the course, material covered, and student expectations. We ask you to pay the remainder of your student's balance at this meeting. You can also access that amount and pay online if you are using a credit/debit card. Please do not bring your student to the meeting, as space is limited.
How old do I need to be to take the 38 hour course?
The 38 hour course is for students 14 yrs and 9 months old up to 17 years of age and enrolled in school.
What papers or forms do I need to bring to class?
We need a photo copy of your students TIP front and back.

How do I obtain the TIP?
Items to Bring to the Office of Motor Vehicles to obtain a Temporary Instruction Permit for Driver's Education:
Minor Students (14 years to 17 years old)
Adult Students (18 years old and older)
*Note: If an adult has a valid Louisiana State ID already issued and their Social Security Number is in OMV's system, then only the ID and Proof of Residency is needed.
Cost of Temporary Instruction Permit is $32.25 with a possible service fee up to $6.00.
Forms of payment are Cash, Credit/Debit Card, Money Order, and Check (check number must be over 1500 to be accepted). Convenience fees apply for Credit/Debit Cards and Checks.
What time is the classroom portion of the 38 hour course?
Classroom Hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm all four days of class.
What do I need to bring/requirements for the Third Party Behind the Wheel Test?
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must have had your permit for 180 calendar days (not just 6 months)

Do I need to have a permit to begin the Behind-the-Wheel Instruction?
No. You TIP that is signed by your parents and yourself allows you to drive a Trinity
Driving School car with an instructor only.
What do I get charged for not showing up to a drive time?
You must cancel your drive time 48 hours in advance in order to avoid a $100.00 No Show fee
